Use This Face Steamer Once a Week, and It Transforms My Skin

This post is our customer Katya from Arkansas which bought the Ion Moisturizing Hot Mist Face Steamer. After purchasing and using it for a while, she sent us her experience of the facial steamer.

I’m a notorious skeptic when it comes to trying new beauty products, especially when they hit above the $50 mark. I need cold, hard proof that it’ll work, that there aren’t cheaper products out there that’ll do the same thing, and that I actually need it. So when I first came across the Ion Moisturizing Hot Mist Face Steamer, which rings in at a decidedly uncheap $59, I laughed it off as some kind of luxury scam. A little machine that blows warm steam onto my face in the name of self-care? I wasn’t so sold on it.

The brand claims this thing brings the results of a professional facial home by using steam to hydrate, clarify, and detoxify your skin(from the Benefits of Steaming Face), leaving you with that just-got-a-peel glow—and while you don't get the luxury of someone going to work on your face and bringing you a lemon water after, reviewers from all corners of the Internet agree it's the next best thing. I consider my (huge) pores and uneven texture to be my biggest skin issues, and given that I’d yet to find something that really helped, I caved—$59 gone but not wasted.

Using it is simple. Once a week, I set the timer for the recommended nine minutes, turn on my favorite podcast, and essentially zone out. It's the first step in my skin care routine to really enhance the absorption and effectiveness of the products to follow. A quick steam before I throw on a charcoal mask has been the most amazing combination—after doing so every weekend for three months, I’ve seen real improvement in the size of my pores and my overall skin texture. It also does wonders for hydrating my skin when it’s feeling super dull, tight, or dry. So much so that my boyfriend and I fight over who gets to use it first after a heavy night of drinking and no sleep.

Surely, an at-home facial steamer is nothing short of a luxury investment. But through some critical testing, it’s become a staple in my home. Not only has it proved itself capable of leaving me with clearer, glowier skin, the nine sweet minutes of pure relaxation can't be beat.

EL mobile has just confirmed that its upcoming smartphone, the EL S618, will ship with a 13+5-megapixel main camera on the back. That’s not all, though, as that camera will be joined by two additional sensors, so you’ll be getting a total of two rear-facing cameras on this smartphone. On top of that, the company has confirmed that the device will be fueled by the MTK 6750 Octa-Core 1.5GHz processor by MediaTek, one of the company’s newer chips. The EL S618 will be the company’s newest smartphone in its rugged “S” series of devices, and even though EL mobile did not confirm when will it launch, that will probably happen soon. If you take a look at the provided image, you will be able to see a sketch of the phone, which essentially confirms that the device will include a notch at the top of the display. The phone will be reinforced all around for drops, as this is a rugged phone after all. Based on this image, the EL S618 may include a customizable key on the left, unless the comp...

What natural products get rid of acne?

So what's the natural product? I think it is you can make it by yourself at home. There are some home remedies for acne. 1. Apply Apple Cider Vinegar Apple cider vinegar is made by fermenting apple cider, or the unfiltered juice from pressed apples. Apple cider vinegar contains several organic acids that have been shown to kill P. acnes. In particular, succinic acid has been shown to suppress inflammation caused by P. acnes, which may prevent scarring. What's more, apple cider vinegar may help dry up the excess oil that causes acne in the first place. How to Use It Mix 1 part apple cider vinegar and 3 parts water (use more water for sensitive skin). After cleansing, gently apply the mixture to the skin using a cotton ball. Let sit for 5–20 seconds, rinse with water and pat dry. Repeat this process 1–2 times per day, as needed. It is important to note that applying apple cider vinegar to your skin can cause burns and irritation, so it should always be used in s...
